Finding Balance in Your 20s: New DBT Skills Group for Young Adults Coming Soon!

Navigating your 20s can be a whirlwind. You’re often balancing career pressures, shifting relationships, and the general uncertainty of "figuring it all out." It’s an exciting time, but it can also be incredibly overwhelming.

At Verne Psychotherapy & Wellness, we know that sometimes you need more than just a space to talk—you need a toolkit. That’s why we are thrilled to announce our upcoming Young Adult DBT Skills Group, launching in early 2026.

What is this group about?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a practical, skills-based approach designed to help you manage intense emotions, improve your relationships, and handle stress with more resilience.

This isn’t just about venting (though we support that, too!). It’s about learning concrete strategies to help you:

  • Regulate your emotions so they don’t feel like a rollercoaster.
  • Communicate effectively to build healthier connections.
  • Tolerate distress without making impulsive decisions.
  • Practice mindfulness to stay present and grounded.

Who is it for?

This group is specifically designed for young adults ages 20–30. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or just want better ways to cope with daily stressors, you’ll be in a supportive space with peers who "get it."

The Details

  • Start Date: Evenings in February 2026 (Official date TBD)
  • Location: In-person at our Cedar Grove, NJ office
  • Cost: $50 per session (Note: We accept insurance plans that may cover the entirety of this cost!)
